The student is the artist just as the artist is the student.
My goal as an artist is to put into visual form what I see, feel, experience, think, and learn. My goal as an art educator is to provide my students with opportunities to acquire the skills needed to visualize their questions, seek their own answers, create new ways to utilize their knowledge so they may make connections between art and the rest of their world. Above all, I am forever a student; seeking answers to questions that have yet to be asked and finding new methods to visually express the experiences life presents.
