Abstract Paintings

Picture
Suspended Flow - 20x24" - Oil
Most of my paintings are abstractions of the world as I experience it.  Color is a primary element in my work both symbolically and for compositional purposes.

Mixed Media & Sculpture

Picture
Norwood - 2011 - Mixed Media
Rarely do I use just one medium for creating sculpture.  Sculpture, like painting, is as much about the process of creating it as it is about the final art.  I may begin with an idea of what I want to create but then I have to listen to the media and go where it takes me.
